We've been making music together as a couple since 1997. Tim plays the guitar, mandolin, banjo, fiddle, hammered dulcimer and concertina. Vicki plays whistles, recorders, and guitar. We both sing lead and harmony.
Our music ranges from Medieval and Renaissance dance tunes and traditional Celtic instrumentals through Old-Time American folk songs and bluegrass to contemporary covers and original compositions. (Yeah, we’ll play just about anything...) We've played Renaissance Faires, Revolutionary and Civil War events, Medieval Feasts, contra and English Country dances, weddings, funerals, receptions, and art openings. We have performed WWII sets, 1960's sets, and music for a genteel Irish teatime. In addition to our duo performances, you may have seen both of us performing Irish music with Cashel Rock or Yuletide tunes with both the Woodstock and Pomfret Revelers. Tim is also currently performing with several other bands: the Blackstone Valley Bluegrass Band, Grass Routes, and ShoreGrass. In the past, he has performed with Springwater, Shady Creek, TrueGrassCT, the Gail Wade Trio, the CornFed Dogs, The Cicadas, and Les Joies des Quebec.
Along with a great group of instructors, we organized and ran the Kids' Academies at the Strawberry Park (2007-2010) and Podunk (2008-2014) Bluegrass Festivals and regularly present educational programs tailored for any age group in schools, colleges, universities, and libraries.
